Summary
As a Caregiver, you will be essential in providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals in an assisted living facilities. Reporting to the Care Manager, your role will involve delivering long-term care and helping clients with activities of daily living (ADLs). Your core skills in caregiving will be complemented by premium skills in first aid and memory care, ensuring the well-being of residents. With a focus on enhancing quality of life, you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those you serve.
Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care and home & community care settings
- Proficient in personal care home services and caregiving practices
- Knowledge of assisted living and nursing home environments
- Strong communication skills and understanding of resident's rights
- Help clients or residents with the activities of daily living.
- Perform personal care tasks such as hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, toileting, and shaving.
- Talk with clients, give them companionship while participating in resident activities.
- Provide transfers assistance by moving clients in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or cars.
- Change linens, assist in the keeping room, cabinet, and dresser drawers neat and clean.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
