Golf Course Maintenance

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of our grounds and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and possess the ability to work with various hand and power tools. Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing.
• Maintain landscape features by planting, watering, and weeding as necessary.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Assist in the irrigation of gardens and landscaped areas to ensure healthy plant growth.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.
• Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Adhere to safety protocols while performing maintenance duties.

Requirements

• Proven experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in groundskeeping tasks.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems is a plus but not mandatory.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• golf course maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
