Heritage Treatment Link is an outpatient treatment program located in Uptown Minneapolis, dedicated to providing care for both men and women. Our program emphasizes smaller group sizes, limited to 12 clients, fostering a supportive work environment that promotes professional growth and mitigates counselor burnout. Position Overview:
The Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor is a dedicated professional and leader committed to delivering exceptional services to clients at Heritage Treatment Link. This individual will effectively manage various aspects of the role, demonstrating exemplary time management, organizational skills, punctuality, and professionalism. Responsibilities include leading group sessions, conducting client assessments to identify substance-related issues, and developing tailored treatment plans. The counselor will assist clients in recognizing barriers to recovery and educate them on effective coping strategies. Compliance with MN Statutes 245G is essential, along with maintaining client progress reports and executing discharge plans. On Tuesdays, you will have the support of our additional counselor, who will assist with treatment plans, discharges, and managing the caseload, ensuring collaborative care and enhanced client support.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
Salary: $65,000 - $82,000 annually

Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate outpatient treatment groups and individual sessions, with group hours from 5:00 PM to 9:20 PM, Monday through Thursday, onsite.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and treatment coordination.
- Ensure adherence to MN Statutes 245G.
- Follow established company training protocols, continuing education requirements, and compliance procedures.
Experience and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- LADC or ADC-T certification with a minimum of one year of experience required.
- Dual credentialing as LADC & LPCC preferred.
- Experience leading groups and working in-person (with potential hybrid telehealth settings).
- Strong skills in treatment planning.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis for client progress monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Robust time management and organizational skills.
