What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer position at Heritage Truck Equipment?
Heritage Truck Equipment is in need of an experienced Mechanical Engineer. Position requires the ability to use computer-aided design and drafting software to develop 3D models, drawings and plans for construction and manufacturing of custom dump bodies, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information. Duties include creating and dimensioning drawings, creating new configurations, assigning part numbers to materials, reviewing and analyzing specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs, procedures, and production. Experience in SolidWorks 3D CAD software a plus. Eligible candidates must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
