Heritage Truck Equipment is seeking a skilled Truck Body Assembler to join their team in Hartville, Ohio. This is a full-time position with a first shift schedule and 50 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mount steel and aluminum truck bodies to chassis
- Install lights, tarp systems, mud flaps, side boards, and other equipment
- Perform final preparation tasks, including touch-up paint and cab cleaning
- Operate an overhead crane
Requirements:
- Basic mechanical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Solid work history and reliable attendance
- Reliable transportation
- Welding experience required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands:
- Frequent use of step ladder
- Kneeling, squatting, sitting, and standing for extended periods
- Use of creeper
