PURPOSE: Provides prompt, courteous service to members as an universal employee who can assist members with a full range of financial services and products. Expand member relationships through cross-selling of credit union products and services that best suit our member’s lifestyle.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Build relationships and enhance member experience, responding to member requests in a friendly, helpful and positive manner.
- Process teller transactions such as check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan/credit card payments, wire transfers, etc. in a confidential and accurate manner.
- Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services such as consumer and mortgage loans, HSA/IRAs, certificates, debit and credit cards, online and mobile banking and checking accounts
- Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all related policies and procedures, rules and regulations for the teller area, including robbery procedures; develop a working knowledge of the credit union's electronic data processing system.
- Develop an understanding of credit union history, philosophy, organization, by-laws and operational procedures.
- Attend training and meetings as scheduled.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
