Location: Heritage Valley Senior Living Community
Schedule: Full-time position, Daylight Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility on evenings and weekends to assist with needs of the facility
The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the three branches of the Senior Living Community. Responsible for resident and resident family engagement and connection, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and maintaining community relations. Creates a business plan to grow revenue and profit while becoming a preferred senior living community in the local area. Recruits and retain associate staff members to create an inclusive community culture that brings quality resident experiences. Ensures activities of the senior living community comply with all federal, state, and local guidelines to ensure residents receive care and services that are consistent with their medical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, wishes, and resident rights.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 5 years related to operational leadership experience required, in a healthcare setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Must have a valid Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) or Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA) license, applicable to state and local regulations. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Preferred: 5 years of executive leadership in a senior living or long-term care setting.

Principal Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for all operations within the Senior Living Community, actively interacting with residents, resident families, and staff.
2. Develops and executes business plan to be a preferred assisted living option in the community. Creates, analyzes, and implements annual operating and capital budgets; sets goals to improve or maintain financial standards and performance.
3. Builds and maintains relationships with management team to encourage teamwork and collaboration. Empowers department leaders to supervise and motivate staff members and to proactively recognize and solve issues. Provides assistance to department leaders and holds them accountable for their departments. Ensures community team maintains appropriate staffing levels to meet the needs of residents and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
4. Builds high degree of resident satisfaction by maintaining positive relationships with residents and resident families. Proactive in solving resident issues. Leads efforts to increase resident satisfaction with staff to maintain positive resident relations.
5. Ensures collaborative relationship with department leaders to ensure the community is meeting the needs of each resident. Oversees the admission process, healthcare management, and maintenance of resident documentation to ensure quality service and compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
6. Drives sales and marketing efforts by collaborating with the Community Liaison to meet or exceed revenue targets. Engage with prospective residents and their families touring the community. Identify and build positive relationships with the surrounding community.
7. Ensures the operations of the Senior Living Community comply with regulatory standards to overseeing government agencies.
8. Ensures the building, grounds, and property are to company and regulatory standards by collaborating with the Director of Maintenance. Makes sure appropriate inspections are made to meet and/or exceed standards.
9. Enforces current company policies and procedures. Maintains applicable licenses in accordance with Company, State, Federal, and local requirements.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
