*WEEKEND PREMIUM RATE - $35.00/hr*
Department: Resident Care
Work Hours: Full-time 12 hour shifts, Every weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday), Rotating Day/Night shift
Basic Function: Provides professional nursing care, under direction of The Director of Resident Care, practicing legal nursing responsibilities indicated by the LPN Practice Act throughout the Senior Living Community.
Qualifications:
Required: Graduate of an accredited professional school of practical nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. At least 2 years of experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Preferred: 2 years Senior Living and Memory Care Experience care preferred.
Scheduling Requirements: FT72 weekend position works every weekend, either 12 hours daylight for the weekend and rotate to 12 hours night for the next weekend. When they work the standard weekend shifts they receive the $32/hour rate. If they wish to pick up addition shifts on weekdays, they would have a standard LPN base rate for those hours worked.
Critical Performance Skills: Policy and procedures, spoken and written communication, commitment to task and coping skills.
Working Conditions: Very heavy work. Lifting objects in excess of 100 lbs. (with mechanical or human assistance) with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Verbal ability to move hands easily while performing job duties. Frequent bending, squatting, stopping, reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking and standing required. Exposed to all patient elements.
Salary : $32 - $35
