The Opportunity:
As the Asset Protection Operations Manager, you will hold a critical responsibility in the implementation of comprehensive Asset Protection measures regarding our daily operation. This includes overseeing invoicing, vendor management, Asset Protection equipment management, new store and renovation project management. You will demonstrate exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels, fostering productive partnerships with store management, your internal Asset Protection team, and corporate stakeholders, which is essential for maintaining operational integrity.
As the Asset Protection Operations Manager, this role is pivotal in the development and implementation of comprehensive Asset Protection strategies aimed at safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of our daily operations. Key responsibilities encompass the oversight of invoicing processes, meticulous vendor management, the administration of Asset Protection equipment, and the strategic coordination of new store openings and renovation projects. To facilitate these initiatives, exceptional communication skills will be crucial to foster strong partnerships with store management, the internal Asset Protection team, and corporate stakeholders, thereby ensuring seamless collaboration and operational integrity.
In this capacity, a strong emphasis will be placed on effective collaboration with the field Asset Protection team. This will involve equipping team members with the necessary tools and resources to execute their responsibilities proficiently. Additionally, the management of service for all Asset Protection-related equipment will be prioritized to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and without interruption, thereby minimizing potential risks to the organization.
Moreover, this position entails regular liaison with the Asset Protection Director, as well as the Legal, Internal Control, and Human Resources departments. About the Role:
- Conducts comprehensive assessments of Asset Protection and operational performance to identify areas and processes that may have a significant impact. Engages in collaborative efforts with the Asset Protection team, store management, and corporate partners to formulate and execute strategic action plans aimed at optimizing overall performance.
- Supervises the comprehensive management of Asset Protection invoicing and conducts detailed budgetary reconciliation in close collaboration with the Asset Protection field team, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial objectives.
- Responsible for managing the Asset Protection timeline associated with both new store projects and renovations. This includes coordinating all aspects of the budget to ensure alignment with financial goals while also setting and meeting expectations for Asset Protection vendors and internal partners. By maintaining a clear and structured timeline, the role ensures that all project milestones are achieved efficiently, ultimately contributing to a secure and successful store launch or renovation.
- Conducts detailed diagnoses and generates comprehensive reports on offsite warehouses to ensure optimal product storage in preparation for product storage and new store openings.
- Spearhead the initial Asset Protection phase of new store turnover and renovation project by closely collaborating with the Logistics Team and the Asset Protection Logistic Team. This involves meticulously coordinating schedules for product delivery, ensuring that all equipment and merchandise arrives on time and in excellent condition. Implement effective communication strategies to address any logistical challenges.
- Diligently oversee the monitoring and maintenance of all Asset Protection equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This includes coordinating timely service repairs and conducting comprehensive reviews of equipment functionality. Collaborate closely with the field team to address any issues that arise, ensuring all systems operate smoothly and efficiently in support of our security objectives.
- Work closely with Asset Protection Director and Procurement Department to assess and select most effective vendor solutions. Ensuring all vital documents for vendors such as contracts, NDA’s, and Folio 2, are current and reflective of HOP standards.
- Engage collaboratively with the field Asset Protection team and relevant corporate partners to ensure that all retail locations are adequately prepared for any upcoming insurance evaluations and internal audit reviews. This process includes conducting thorough assessments of compliance practices, enhancing security protocols, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is properly organized. Following the completion of these evaluations, you will compile a comprehensive report of the findings and share it with the Asset Protection Director to facilitate subsequent analysis and appropriate follow-up actions.

About You:
- 3-5 years of experience as a retail Asset Protection Manager or higher, luxury retail experience is preferred.
- Experience with EBR reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn other software programs quickly.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
- Superior organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong partnership, communication and relationship building skills.
The range for this position is $90,094.58 - $106,475.72 annually. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
