Outside Sales Account Executive

What You’ll Do:

As a Sales Representative at Hermann Services, you’ll play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth. Your primary focus will be on selling dedicated contract carriage, transportation, and warehouse services to businesses that require reliable and scalable supply chain solutions. You’ll be responsible for identifying new prospects, developing relationships, and providing customized logistics solutions tailored to our customers’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Account Management:

• Identify and engage potential customers through lead generation, networking, and cold outreach.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and revenue growth.
• Understand customer needs and present tailored transportation, warehousing, and distribution solutions.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring ongoing service excellence and satisfaction.

Selling Warehouse & Distribution Solutions:

• Promote Hermann Services’ warehousing and distribution capabilities, including storage, inventory management, fulfillment, and cross-docking.
• Educate customers on how integrated warehouse and transportation services can optimize their supply chains.
• Work with internal warehouse operations teams to develop cost-effective storage and fulfillment solutions.

Market & Sales Strategy Execution:

• Research industry trends, supply chain challenges, and customer demands to inform sales strategies.
• Leverage Hermann Services’ extensive transportation and warehousing network to create value-driven solutions.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer shipments and warehousing needs.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms to secure profitable business while delivering exceptional service.

Operational Coordination & Customer Service:

• Collaborate with dispatchers, warehouse managers, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of services.
• Address and resolve any customer concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Utilize technology and data-driven insights to optimize transportation and warehouse solutions for clients.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field – OR equivalent transportation experience
• Previous sales experience in transportation, warehousing, or supply chain solutions is a MUST.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, ADP Workforce Now, etc.) to manage pipelines and customer relationships
• A strong desire to exceed sales targets and grow professionally
