What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Cross Country Coach position at Hermann High School?
Gasconade County R-1 is seeking highly qualified student-centered applicants for an Assistant Cross Country Coach position for the 2025-2026 season. This position will work with both High School and Middle School students. Candidates must have the ability to build a strong rapport with students, coaches, and the community. This position will provide mentorship and a culture of positivity, high expectations, and professionalism that will define our students now and in the future.
Working closely with the head coach, you will be part of a school that has a rich tradition of academic and athletic excellence. This district focuses on teamwork and maximizing the potential of each student. The successful candidate will play an integral role in working collaboratively with fellow cross country coaches in the MSHSAA approved athletic offering for middle and high school students. Experience with the rules, skills, and techniques of MSHSAA cross country is preferred but not required. Previous cross country coaching experience preferred, but not required. 60 hours of college credit is required; a teaching certificate is preferred but not required.
