Gasconade County R-1 is seeking highly qualified Band Teacher applicants for our award winning instrumental and band program for the 2025-2026 school year. This position will teach both Middle and High School Students and is also responsible for performances and competitions. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for student excellence and making a positive difference in a child's life.
The successful candidate must be able to implement higher order learning strategies, have the ability to integrate technology skills into the classroom, possess strong communication skills, and build positive relationships with students, parents, and the community. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities and Missouri Learning Standards. Hermann Middle and High Schools educate approximately 600 students in grades 4 - 12. We have a rich tradition of academic excellence.
A bachelor’s degree and applicable certifications are required.
