What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL-A DRIVER FOR OVER 1,000 WEEKLY MILES position at Hermann Logistics?
We are opening hiring procedures! Driving candidates that are selected for the position will be driving OTR for weekly home time with a 34 hour reset. Candidates MUST reside within 50 miles around the city of Denver CO and, of course, the hiring invitation is open for those residing inside those same city in Colorado.
In this driving position, drivers will unload the freight with rollers, they also need to be physically fit to get on and off the trailer box and cabin as needed. - Pay starts at $1,487.00 depending on verifiable experience and performance
- 1,700 miles on average per week
- 1-2 loads per week
- 2-3 stops per load
- Drivers will be unloading freight with rollers
- Route: NV, CA. AZ, MT, NM, ND, SD, UT, WY
- Occasional back-hauling
- Weekly home with 34 hour reset
- Start time 06:00 with a 14-hour work day
- Days off based on freight demands
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 months of driving experience minimum
- Must be physically fit to get up and down of the trailer as needed
- Clean MVR and driving record with a valid class A driver's license
- DOT Medical card
- 21 Years old OR OLDER
- Must be able to pass a drug test (hair/urine)
