Job Summary
The IT Security Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the security of the organization's IT infrastructure by implementing and maintaining security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
Duties
- Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
- Respond to security incidents and provide incident management support
- Manage access controls and user permissions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27002 and ISO 27000
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure Active Directory services
- Monitor and analyze security incidents to proactively prevent security breaches
Skills
- Proficiency in IT security concepts and practices
- Knowledge of computer networking and network security principles
- Experience with SAN (Storage Area Network) technologies
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components and their interdependencies
- Strong understanding of ISO 27002 standards for information security management
- Ability to work with Active Directory services for user authentication and authorization
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53.35 - $58.79 per hour
