Overview
We are seeking a skilled Windows Server Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, specifically Windows servers.
Duties
- Install and configure Windows server operating systems and software
- Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability
- Perform system backups and recovery
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Maintain security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Windows Server Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in system administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare
- Familiarity with network security practices and firewall configurations
- Understanding of VPNs and system architecture
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or T-SQL is a plus
- Familiarity with Kubernetes is an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54.42 - $58.03 per hour
