Assistant Food and Beverage Manager
Hermitage Country Club is seeking an energetic, outgoing Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Food & Beverage. Management of dining room services and banquet services in the manner most pleasing to members and guests. Assures a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of both the dining room and events. Supervises and assists with training of food and beverage staff. Manages within budgetary restraints. Develops and implements programs to increase revenue (repeat business and higher check average). The individual will ensure that all staff have a positive attitude aligning with our company culture.
Candidate Qualifications
- Must have service-attitude and knowledge of Fine Dining trends and execution is critical for the success in this role.
- Be a leader and have ability to coach a team.
- Have extensive wine knowledge (preferred).
- Exhibit excellent communication skills as well as ability to articulate knowledge of front of the house operations in a club or fine dining restaurant.
Education Qualifications
- Experience in the private club industry is a plus but not required.
- Have a proven track record and work experience as a Dining Room Manager or Restaurant Manager for a minimum of 3 years with progressively increasing responsibilities over one’s career.
