Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Host/Hostess to join our team and contribute to the exceptional guest experience we provide. The Host/Hostess will play a vital role in ensuring that our members and guests receive outstanding service from the moment they arrive until their departure. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, setting the tone for their visit.
Responsibilities:
Greet members and guests with warmth and professionalism upon their arrival.
Manage reservation seating efficiently to optimize dining room capacity and minimize wait times.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Maintain a clean and organized hostess stand and dining area.
Assist in coordinating with the waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.
Provide accurate information about menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
Address any guest concerns or special requests and ensure they are communicated to the appropriate staff.
Assist in maintaining a welcoming ambiance in the dining area, including lighting, music, and overall atmosphere.
Collaborate with the management team to accommodate private events and special occasions.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer-facing role preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional and friendly demeanor.
Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and patience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus.
Knowledge of food and beverage offerings is an advantage.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
