What are the responsibilities and job description for the Racquets Professional position at Hermitage Country Club?
Hermitage Country Club is looking for a Racquets Professional that is certified in tennis and pickle ball, has a good work ethic, positive attitude, and love for the game. Hermitage is located just west of Richmond, Virginia in Goochland County. The club has over 1,000 members with 36 holes of golf, swimming facility, 8 outdoor tennis courts (6 of them hydro courts), 8 pickle ball courts, 4 platform tennis courts and a Sports Center that includes 4 indoor tennis courts, a large fitness room, group exercise studio, and massage rooms. This is a full-time entry level position and will report directly to the Director of Racquet Sports. Compensation will include hourly rate of $12.41/hour working 30-40 hours per week and includes bonus of teaching lessons. Candidates are expected to have a positive attitude, communicate well with the members as well as other staff. Responsibilities include teaching group and private lessons for tennis and pickle ball, as well as organizing pickle ball leagues and social. Applicants with playing abilities of 4.5 or higher are preferred. The position will start March 1, 2025.
