We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated educational specialist to join our team as a High School Special Education teacher.
About the Position:
This is a full-time position available immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students with special needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality instructional programs aligned with state and national standards
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other meetings to communicate student progress and address concerns
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field required
- Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education (LS) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with students with special needs preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
