Job Description: Line Production Worker

Department/Physical Location of Employment: All areas of factory including warehouse.

• SUMMARY OF ROLE: The primary duty of the production worker will be to complete production and warehousing tasks as assigned by management. This is an at-will employment position.
• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete manufacturing and warehousing assignments for the manufacture and warehousing of clocks and furniture. Assignments can be but not limited to the breakout, machining, assembly, finishing, packing, and warehousing departments.

• QUALIFICATIONS: An employee in this position should have the following education/certifications, work experience, and skill set:
• Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: One years’ experience or equivalent preferred.
• Specialized Knowledge: Ability to read a tape measure preferred.

Stand and walk for 8-12 hours per day.

Work in manufacturing environment that is not always climate controlled.

Work in an environment with wood dust and finishing chemicals in the air.

Sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs on a prolonged or repeated basis;

Climb, ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like;

Balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift;

Use fingers for – picking, pinching and typing;

Engage in repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers;

Move with balance and coordination;

Use hand-eye coordination and dexterity functions;

See with close vision, distance vision, and color vision;

Frequent high noise levels;

Work in extreme heat or cold indoors and outdoors;

• WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position is performed in a manufacturing environment that can be extremely hot or cold.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to: petroleum based -fumes or airborne particles, sawdust, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions and loud noises.
