What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Operations position at HERO Business Inc?
Job Description: Right-Hand Human
Title: Director of Operations
About the Role:
HERO is looking for someone who’s hungry, high-capacity, and knows how to turn chaos into progress. This isn’t your average ops job. This is a front-row seat to scale a high-growth healthcare technology company. You'll wear 17 hats (often on the same day), solve problems before they exist, and help lead HERO into its next phase.
If you're the kind of person who:
- Can write a marketing headline, close a contract, and troubleshoot a process bottleneck before lunch
- Thinks “impossible” just means “no one’s tried the right way yet”
- Is obsessed with making customers raving fans
- Wants to be the best and work with the best
- Wants ownership, speed, and a seat at the leadership table
...then we need to talk.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a strategic partner across operations, marketing, sales, and client delivery
- Execute key initiatives (and help define them)
- Create and optimize systems that help us scale
- Be a trusted voice in decision-making - not a yes-person
- Act as a force multiplier for the leadership team
- Spot problems before they happen and fix them before anyone else notices
Requirements
HERO is a Healthcare Technology Management company specializing in the maintenance and repair of complex medical equipment. While not mandatory, candidates with experience or a strong understanding of this field and its regulatory compliance requirements are highly preferred.
- Experience working in hospitals or healthcare organizations
- Experience in maintenance and repair of patient care and diagnostic medical equipment
- Startup or operations experience
- Leadership and Team Building experience
- Excellent communicator (written verbal)
- A bias for action and a love of fast-paced, purpose-driven work
- You’re cool under pressure, allergic to drama, and thrive on responsibility
- Based in or near Southern California - You can't beat this weather
- Ability to travel 1 - 2 times per month on average
Compensation
$100,000–$140,000 annually, depending on experience, with potential for bonus and growth into executive leadership.
