Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our CSU facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in crisis intervention, and a deep understanding of DBHDS regulations. This role requires excellent coordination with clinical and administrative teams to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the CSU.
- Ensure compliance with DBHDS licensing standards, Medicaid regulations, and all relevant policies.
- Supervise and support clinical staff, nurses, direct support professionals (DSPs), and crisis intervention teams.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, crisis intervention strategies, and discharge planning.
- Maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for 24/7 operations.
- Conduct staff training and ensure adherence to policies and best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for state agencies, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor client progress, ensure documentation is completed, and oversee reporting requirements.
- Manage budgets, resources, and operational logistics of the CSU.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a crisis stabilization, mental health, or residential care setting.
- Strong knowledge of DBHDS, Medicaid, and crisis intervention regulations.
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams (clinicians, nurses, DSPs, peer support staff, etc.).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage high-stress situations effectively.
- Preferred: QMHP-A, QMHP-C, or RN license in Virginia.
