We’re looking for a Product Designer to join the team as our first dedicated systems designer. You will be the owner of the Design System working closely with product designers, engineers, product managers, and other partners to drive cross-functional alignment and co-define strategy for our design system. You will be responsible for building into the existing design system, establishing guidelines and building out documentation. We are looking for a strong communicator who enjoys solving complex problems and works well in a small, cross-functional dynamic team.
What you’ll do :
- Design and communicate your vision to the team using high-fi mock-ups, documentation, and prototypes. Leverage research and data to support solutions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and brand to define strategically the future of design systems anticipating potential use cases and evolutions as the product continues to grow.
- Contribute to the bigger picture of the design system and how it serves the organization.
- Impact business goals through effective and efficient development of design solutions.
- Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers across the product understanding technical constraints and be an advocate of the user during tradeoff, timeline, and experience discussions.
- Participate and shape the design team’s culture.
