Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse activities, ensuring efficient and effective processes in inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, inventory control, safety and leading continuous improvement strategies.
Duties
- Supervise warehouse staff (of up to 50), providing coaching, training, guidance and support to ensure goals and KPIs are avhieved.
- Manage inventory and quality to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Coordinate with 3PL providers to optimize transportation planning and logistics.
- Implement best practices in warehouse management systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess productivity levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and ensure accuracy in stock records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience. at least 5 years, in warehouse operations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics.
- Extensive experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing operations.
