Fertilization Technician

US:

Heroes Lawn Care is a full service lawn care maintenance and landscaping company beginning our 11th year of business. We are looking to expand and grow our team of professionals that continue to provide exceptional service and experiences in the Omaha and Lincoln areas.

YOU:

A Fertilization Technician plays a large role in the success of our fertilization division by performing tasks independently and in a timely manner. Candidate should be able to make a good first impression with a client as well as seek opportunities to represent and cross-sell all divisions of Heroes Lawn Care. Candidate should be very motivated to work independently and alongside their crew to do a great job and grow their skillset.

***STARTING PAY IS DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE***

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform fertilization and aeration work for customers.

· Understand the application of lawn care products, such as fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides.

· Assist customers to come up with solutions to keep their lawns growing well throughout the season.

· Perform job duties using proper methods and industry standards.

· Help to grow Fertilization division and other services, assisting in sales across markets.

· Work in a fast-paced environment while operating with a high sense of urgency and professionalism.

· Snow Removal and/or assistance with our sister company, Blingle! with holiday lighting.

· Present Heroes Lawn Care and its subsidiaries in a positive manner to clients, prospects, and friends/families.

· Upsell product and material as appropriate. When certain goals are reached, this will be rewarded with additional wages in the form of a bonus.

· Having a Nebraska pesticide license is strongly preferred. If not, candidate must possess the ability to get Nebraska state pesticide license within 90 days of hiring (paid for by Heroes with bonus upon completion)

REQUIREMENTS:

1-2 year of fertilizer experience preferred

Required to have a valid fed/state issued ID & no pending legal issues

Ability to drive a company vehicle

Candidate must be able to get to shop on time each morning.

Work well under pressure, problem solve on the go and be able to take direction and follow direction without constant supervision.

SCHEUDLE:

Monday through Friday, with possible Saturdays.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

• Pest Control & Chemical Spraying Occupations: 2 years (Required)
