Toolmaker Job Description
Join our team as a Toolmaker in the 2nd shift, where you'll be part of our dynamic production environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate CNC machines and manual machines to manufacture high-quality tooling.
- Create WinMax programs for CNC milling and Mazatrol programs for CNC lathe, following our standard operating procedures (SOP) for programming.
- Operate manual tool shop equipment effectively in the production of ultrasonic tooling, including manual lathes, Bridgeports, grinders, and saws.
- Assemble ultrasonic tooling and other equipment.
- Inspect and quality-control finished ultrasonic tooling, documenting measured values.
- Repair and retune ultrasonic tooling as part of our RMA/repair process.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in toolmaking.
- Ability to operate CNC programs, preferably with experience in WinMax.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment.
