POSITION SUMMARY
The Passenger Coordinator is a unique position focused on customer satisfaction & inter-departmental communication. The Passenger Coordinator will assist guests in the passenger boarding area while maintaining a high degree of fun, safety and professionalism. The position works closely with the Customer Service Representatives (CSR’s) and Guides to ensure a smooth transition for customers and address any issues that arise.
RESPONSIBILITES
• Greet and organize customers in the passenger boarding area 10 - 15 min prior to tour departures; help put customers at ease in anticipation of their tour
• Provide directions to restroom facilities and offer suggestions of tour necessities that they should acquire
• Answer customer questions and address any concerns to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain communication with CSR’s and Guides to address issues, such as parties in the boarding area that have not checked in, have not paid, or are missing and/or late
• Assist Guides with tour preparation (car seats, water, blankets, etc.)
• Assure that all customers have boarded the appropriate Jeep and that no one is left in the boarding area after Jeeps have departed
• Provide traffic control for pedestrians crossing the driveway and assuring Jeeps exit safely
• Serve as first-line defense for all issues relating to passenger boarding
• Maintain sidewalk presence in order to assist and direct customers throughout the different areas of the Plaza (reservations office and merchandise store)
• Perform hourly checks of the grounds, public facilities, Ramada and Plaza area; provide general cleaning of reservations office and outside public areas to ensure positive customer impression
• Clean public restrooms in cases of emergency messes or plumbing issues
• Order supplies and maintain stocking levels for the kitchen, restroom and cleaning supplies
• Assist with snow removal in the winter and salting the sidewalks and stairs as necessary. Sweep up crystals after melt
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Environment
• Ability to handle demanding weather extremes including temperatures ranging from 20 degrees to 110 degrees in all varieties of weather
• Ability to freely access all areas of the customer service dept. including the front and back office, waiting area, Guide area (accessible by stairs) and parking lot
• Ability to communicate with associates and customers in person
• Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and computer transactions
• Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to perform the job (computers, copier, fax machine and telephone)
• Ability to work opening and closing shifts and varied hours and days up to 10 hours per day; A half hour lunch is included in the 10 hours
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and safety
• Ability to use a variety of cleaners in order to provide upkeep of the public restrooms and the Pink Jeep Plaza area
