Herschend is seeking a Corporate Sales Audit Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 and work with our accounting and sales systems. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the field, gain hands-on experience with sales audit, and make a meaningful impact on our business.
In this role, you will have the chance to -
- work for the Senior Manager of Sales Audit to review and evaluate sales data for accuracy – gather data, research, review, evaluate, and make appropriate calculations.
- help create an environment where people work as a team, and empower each other by being patient, kind, humble, respectful, selfless, forgiving, and honest and committed when interacting with one another and the guests.
- collaborate across properties of various theme parks and aquariums to identify opportunities for improvement, ensure that internal controls are followed and recommend procedural changes
- engage with cross-functional teams in finance, accounting, and operations to ensure alignment on sales and proper revenue recognition
The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and can work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
