Due to our continued growth, we are looking for energetic and motivated Area Sales Manager to develop new business with clients like mom-and-pop stores, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes in and around the Cadillac area. The branch office is located in Cadillac, MI.

We will provide you with the intensive training and mentoring that you need to turn your enthusiasm and your drive into a successful sales career, calling on potential new accounts, and growing existing ones within your protected territory. You can expect to make $50k-$55k your first year, plus we offer excellent benefits and perks as well as plenty of room for advancement as we open up new markets.

Job Requirements

As an Area Sales Manager, you must be enthusiastic, with a great deal of energy, drive and initiative as well as the desire to learn all about our product line and sales techniques. Since our local branch operations tend to be smaller, you will also need to be willing to pitch in on a variety of duties such as making deliveries and doing physical labor as needed, especially in the off season.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• Past outside sales experience
• A winning attitude and a proven trend of personal growth and performance over time
• Longevity at previous jobs and a desire for a long-term career
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Some business-to-business sales experience, a plus
• Must be physically able to perform physical activities such as moving freezers and delivering ice cream as a backup.
