As a Journeyman Electrician at Hertz Electric, you'll play an essential role in completing commercial electrical projects with a commitment to quality and safety. From installing wiring systems to troubleshooting complex issues, your expertise will help us continue delivering top-tier services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems, following local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to ensure seamless operations for commercial clients.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the safety and efficiency of electrical systems.
• Mentor and guide apprentice electricians, sharing your skills and expertise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, prioritizing safety and minimizing disruptions for clients.
  
  

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience with at least 4 years in commercial electrical work.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and local building codes.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and client satisfaction.
• Experience with project management software such as Procore or CompanyCam is a plus; training is available.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to project sites in the NJ/NYC areas.
• An OSHA 40 certification is required for work in New Jersey, while a New York City DOB SST card is mandatory for work in New York City.
