A Day in the Life:
The Receivables Supervisor is empowered to make business decisions to ensure the efficiency of the business credit and long-term rental process. They will ensure timely research and responses to customers, legal, sales, and leadership by contract regulations (US and Europe) and rental locations. They will assist and maintain all programming intake forms for the program changes due to business needs or process efficiency. They provide reports as needed to leadership and approve all journal entries and online adjustments for items requested by stations and open receivable transfers to collection units. They will also handle customer inquiries to prevent further issues with customer satisfaction and oversee all receivables processes.
We expect the starting salary to be around $55,000; the actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience
What You’ll Do:
- Leadership and Decision-Making: Lead the team by making informed business decisions to enhance process efficiency. Empower team members through effective training and support
- Communication and Training: The Multi Month Supervisor acts as the primary communication link between employees and leaders concerning multi-month billing, customer service, and reporting. They are responsible for establishing effective training programs to ensure timely research and response for each process. The Supervisor must regularly evaluate and prioritize tasks to address high-priority work. Revenue calculations, billing, and audits must be conducted frequently to ensure accuracy and proper handling.
- Inquiry and Billing Management: The Supervisor ensures that all inquiries, billings, and credits for multi-month rentals (63 to 330 days) are resolved promptly. They must effectively communicate the various steps of the multi-month process, including reservations, billing, car maintenance, responding to internal and external auditors, automation, fleet and DSP requirements, DNR-suspension, and final closeout. The Supervisor will also collaborate frequently with the sales team members of the Hertz Corporation.
- Team Collaboration and Mediation: The Supervisor must establish clear lines of communication between all parties involved, including employees and both external and internal customers. Effective communication is essential when dealing with locations and Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) within Hertz to address infractions in the rental process.
- Customer Service Oversight: The Supervisor ensures that the multi-month customer service telephone handling staff operates correctly, respectfully, and professionally. They must adhere to policies and procedures, observe service standards, and handle escalation calls as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 4-year Business Management Degree preferred. Extensive Hertz related experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Supervisory experience of diversified personnel preferred.
- Ability to handle with a wide range of jobs within the unit
