Revenue Data Analyst

A Revenue Data Analyst plays a critical role in driving system performance to optimize revenue outcomes. This position focuses on leveraging advanced data analysis to uncover insights that not only enhance revenue but also provide a competitive edge in the market. The analyst will collaborate closely with the Systems Performance and Systems Strategy teams to identify areas of research opportunity, create reporting or training to strengthen team knowledge, and automate key tasks when feasible.  This dynamic role offers the chance to shape data-driven decision-making and contribute to the overall success of the revenue management strategy.

This role will build upon and expand their knowledge of Revenue Management systems, science, and the technology ecosystem to help answer analyst questions, identify enhancements or process changes, and work to support a world-class Revenue Management organization. The Analyst is adept at analytics, intellectually curious, and personally motivated to answer challenging questions and solve difficult problems.

Based in Estero, Florida at the Hertz Global Headquarters, the Analyst will report to a leader of Revenue Management on the Systems Strategy and Analytics team.

The starting salary will be between $65-70k, commensurate with experience. 

What You’ll Do:

• Perform Data Analysis:  Combine data analytics with day-to-day execution, helping to solve key problems in the process as well as providing solutions for current methods that lack critical data; work with analysts to identify the greatest areas of opportunity
• Deliver Actionable Insights: Explore data, formulating questions for further testing and exploration.  Utilize your skills as a data storyteller, presenting to business executives with appropriate supporting detail
• Test and Monitor Performance: Closely monitor system inputs for optimal performance.  Recommend, craft, monitor, and report on the effectiveness of test actions in the marketplace
• Automate key Revenue Management tasks and reporting:  Generate automated exception reporting to identify areas of revenue opportunity, quantify the opportunities, and prioritize by magnitude.  affording market Analysts additional time to spend on more revenue-accretive functions
• Collaborate & Communicate Across Teams: Works closely with internal and external teams to test, relay feedback, and ensure alignment with desired business outcomes.
• Own Issues & Resolutions: Thoroughly log defects, inconsistencies, and potential risks. Perform root cause analyses and collaborate with related teams to find efficient resolutions. Own the lifecycle from identification to resolution, never losing sight of the end goal. 
• Champion Thought Leadership: Promote and participate in the exchange of learning across the organization. Offer insights and critical feedback when needed, never afraid to challenge the status quo.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Revenue Management 
• 1 years’ experience in data analysis, systems support, or revenue management preferred, but not required
• Excellent technical skills are essential, including advanced Excel and SQL
• Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: History of diagnosing issues, identifying root causes, and proposing clear, logical solutions in fast-paced settings.
• Effective Communication: Ability to articulate complex findings and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of revenue optimization, pricing science, and economic principles.
• Data mining through Python and/or R
• Visualizing data via R, Python, and/or Tableau
• Statistics and probability experience a plus

Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
