Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, energetic individual to join our company as a Volkswagen Salesperson. As part of our sales team, you will be directly responsible for assisting customers through the buying process of their new or used vehicle. You will be the main point of contact with our customers to ensure all questions are met before, during, and after their vehicle purchase. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic attitude towards customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high degree of product and technical knowledge.
- Pro-actively engage with customers who visit the dealership to answer questions and respond to concerns.
- Oversee the vehicle buying process to ensure proper information is explained.
- Follow up on delivered vehicles within a specified amount of time to ensure customer satisfaction and understanding of featured technology.
- Stay up-to-date on all manufacture features and technical changes.
- Review with the Sales Manager monthly objectives, weekly activities and daily planned activities.
- Understand the terminology of the automobile business, be informed on technological changes in the products and be able to communicate to customers.
- Report any vehicle lot damage or any problem with a vehicle to the Sales Manager immediately.
- Know and understand federal, state and local laws which govern retail auto sales.
- Complete all training as directed by supervisor.
- Follow policies and procedures as set forth in Employee Handbook.
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid in-state driver's license
- Must have an acceptable safe driving record
- Pass screening requirements
- Must present a professional appearance.
Educational: High school diploma or the equivalent.
Experience: Dealership Sales Experience (Preferred)

Special Skills (i.e., licenses, certifications): Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain a high degree of vehicle and technical knowledge.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions: The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. Occasionally requires the ability to lift 20 pounds of material.
