We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional part-time Leasing Agent / Assistant to the Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assist with marketing and leasing properties, ensuring they are effectively maintained while fostering positive relationships with property owners and tenants. You will contribute to a welcoming office atmosphere and represent our company positively in all your activities. Additionally, you will coordinate the orientation of new tenants and support the territory manager with daily office tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently record and update information on prospective and current tenants in our database.
- Market available properties, including advertising and conducting property tours.
- Screen prospective tenants to ensure they meet all eligibility requirements.
- Assist with completing and verifying lease applications.
- Communicate application results to prospective tenants.
- Conduct property inspections when tenants move in and out.
- Provide information and address questions, complaints, and concerns from tenants and vendors.
- Maintain and organize all necessary documentation.
- Process rent payments, security deposits, and other applicable fees.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Hourly Rate: $16 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.
