We are looking for certified, friendly, detail oriented and safety conscious Range Safety Officers to oversee the safe and efficient conduct of shooting in our state of the art indoor Range.

The successful candidate for this role should possess:
- Certified as an RSO (Range Safety Officer) through either the NRA or USCCA or willing to take a certification class.
- Must be 21 and able to pass a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check as well as drug screenings.
- The position requires the ability to communicate effectively, to listen, and make effective decisions.
- Exceptional customer service skills required
- Basic computer skills required
- Highly organized & attention to detail
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and ability to work as a member of a team.
Special Requirements: Must complete required courses and certifications, including but not limited to the following:
- Range Master or RSO experience
- Experience in firearms training
- NRA OR USPSA RSO certification is required before you can begin employement.
- First Aid training is required within six months of hire.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of shooting on the Range.
- Ensures all safety requirements and regulations are complied with.
- Observe clients on the firing line to ensure safety rules are followed and provide assistance or instructions as needed.
- Maintain range and ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere.
- Must demonstrate that you possess skills, knowledge, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting and supervising safe shooting activities and range operation.
- Must enjoy working with people and making them feel comfortable.
- Handle all items in accordance with established policies, procedures and practices.
- Communicate effectively with fellow employees and managers & display respect.
- Partner with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to operate various shooting range equipment. Requires the ability to maintain body equilibrium when bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, reaching, and/or stretching arms, legs, or other body parts and to physically maneuver over and/or upon varying terrain, surfaces, or physical structures.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: If hired, you will work shifts up to 8 hours per day. Work is performed under sometimes fast paced conditions. Work requires time management and the ability to manage several tasks at the same time.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
