We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers, while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Oversee budgeting processes, including cost estimation and resource allocation.
- Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for project management and documentation.
- Review schematics and construction plans to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the construction process.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software and tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
- Familiarity with quality control practices and safety protocols (OSHA).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience with pipeline construction is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Knowledge of using tools such as an Ohmmeter is advantageous.
