Hesston Intergenerational Child Development Center is seeking a qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher. As an Infant-Toddler Teacher at Hesston Intergenerational Child Development Center, you will care for children aged 6 weeks to one-year-old. They will learn and explore their world through storytelling, singing, and dancing. You will provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures each child's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative development.

Responsibilities:

• Create and prep for daily activities and lesson plans
• Prepare bottles and serve meals
• Attentive to children’s dietary needs and restrictions
• Assisting with diapering and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
• Manage classroom behavior and positive discipline techniques
• Making appropriate accommodations for children who may need it
• Ensure the cleanliness of the classroom at all times, including cleaning up after meals and activities
• Build and maintain a positive relationship with children and their families
• Work to foster a positive educational environment for all children. Working with them socially, emotionally, and developmentally.
• Maintain and follow KDHE licensing requirements.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must Be 18 years with a High School Diploma/GED
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare facility
• Completed the 18-hour Foundations class
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or obtain within 30 days of employment)
• Must pass a KDHE background check
• Must possess organization skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize.
• Full-time availability (Monday-Friday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
