Field Service Technician – Fort Smith, AR

- This is a full time, hourly position. Some overtime may be required based on customer demands.
- Maintain, service, and support material handling equipment, systems and products at the customer location in a timely and cost-effective manner so that all requirements are met.
- Diagnose, trouble-shoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures; ensuring that positive relationships are established.
- Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to established procedures and cost guidelines at customer’s facility.
- Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately and completely follow Mobile Tech Procedures as directed by management.
- Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required.
- Drive and work safely in accordance with company and/or customer safety policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.
- Maintain the van’s interior equipment, storage devices, service manuals and related documents.
- Attend meetings, training classes and other company activities as required.
- Keep an adequate set of personal tools as required by the position.
- Work with all departments and employees to ensure high quality customer service.
- Strong mechanical aptitude & ability; basic knowledge of industrial electricity
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer’s specifications
- Experience within the industrial maintenance, automotive, heavy equipment industries
- HS Diploma or GED
- At least two (2) years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15’ to 30’ in height
