About the Role:
HEVRON is made up of a small team of people who love fashion and love delighting our customers with beautiful well fitting clothes. If you love fashion, learning how clothes are made, enjoy having broad responsibilities, learning, working with great people and enjoying yourself along the way this role may be for you. Role is full-time but would be open to part time for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Partnering with Designer and our overseas factories to articulate our fit and technical construction needs for wovens in all categories from SMS through production..
- Monitor and track all samples, trims, fabrics, prints and color development approvals to/from suppliers
- Ensure consistency in materials, construction, and production techniques to ensure superior product
- Intimate knowledge of how fitted and contoured garments are constructed
- Product grading and overall fit
- Partnering with Designer and Creative Director to solve problems
- Developing and maintaining measuring standards and other necessary procedures
- Evaluating prototypes and inspect finished products to ensure they are free from defects and inline with product specifications.
- Managing WIPs and factory communication
- Working with Creative Designer to organize fabric headers
Preferred Experience and Skills
- 3 years of experience in product development, pattern making a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Detail oriented, organized and self-motivated
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to change
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite; experience with project management tools like Asana a plus
- Experienced with draping, denim and sweaters a plus
- Candidate must inherently be extremely organized and likes to work in steps and with a process.
