Job Overview
Hewes Marine Company, Inc. (HMC) is seeking a full-time, Shipping I laborer to work at our manufacturing facility in Colville, WA. This position performs shipping and loading functions and operates material handling equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes. This position reports to the Shipping Lead and Shipping Supervisor.
Duties
- Preparing, wrapping, and loading boats and other marine products for shipment
- Warehouse/worksite and equipment cleaning and organization
- Completion of assigned tasks individually and as part of the Shipping/Loading team
- Achievement of all safety, quality, and productivity goals as set by department Lead and/or Supervisor
Requirements
Education/Experience:
· High school graduation, GED, or equivalent
· Successful completion of forklift operation certification within 14 days of hire
· Hand and pneumatic tool experience
· Ability to lift 40 lbs. with no restrictions
Compensation:
· This is a full-time, hourly position with
· Work Schedule Monday–Friday.
· Occasional overtime and weekend work are required.
· Wage Range: $21-$23.50 per hour
