Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Water Well Pump Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining water pumps and related systems for our clients. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the proper installation of pumps, motors, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pump Installation: Install new water well pumps, motors, and related equipment in accordance with blueprints, technical specifications, and industry standards.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on water well pumps, motors, and control systems.
  • System Testing: Perform water pressure tests and other diagnostic assessments to ensure the proper functioning of pumps and systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients regarding the status of installations, repairs, and maintenance, and offering recommendations for system upgrades.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and the clients during all installation and repair processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance work completed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including drillers and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion of tasks.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintain and care for tools, machinery, and vehicles.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical or electrical issues with water pump systems efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience installing and maintaining water well pumps and systems is required.
  • Strong knowledge of pump installation, motor wiring, electrical components, and water system diagnostics.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and pump specifications.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for pump installation and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in outdoor environments for extended periods.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (company vehicle may be provided for job duties).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with both residential and commercial water well systems.
  • Certification in pump installation or related technical training.
  • Knowledge of water well regulations and safety standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to [weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs] regularly.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on outdoor job sites.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces or in conditions that may require bending, lifting, or kneeling.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
