Project Manager – Field Supplier ManagementDescription -The Field Supplier Optimization Project Manager will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives focused on optimizing vendor relationships and streamlining processes to achieve cost efficiency, enhanced service quality, and supplier calibration. This role focuses on project planning, execution, and delivery in alignment with organizational goals. With opportunities to manage and deliver high-impact projects across various functions, the role provides a long-term growth path within a globally recognized organization.Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Portfolio OptimizationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement standardized frameworks, such as rate cards and performance-driven agreements, along with SLA alignment to ensure consistency in vendor management.Engage procurement and governance teams to identify inefficiencies and streamline vendor engagement processes.Lead initiatives to integrate modern labor models, such as gig economy practices, and conduct evaluations to identify and maximize vendor capabilities.Drive supplier rationalization by consolidating vendors and focusing on high-performing, strategic partners to achieve cost efficiencies.Project Planning and ExecutionDevelop comprehensive project plans with clear timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges during execution.Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.Leverage project management tools to ensure consistent documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.Stakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including vendor account managers, to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.Facilitate regular meetings to communicate project progress, gather feedback, and address concerns proactively.Serve as a key liaison between markets and organizational leadership, ensuring accountability and alignment with strategic objectives..Performance Monitoring and ReportingUtilize project management and analytics tools to track vendor performance metrics and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, vendor performance, and financial impact to key stakeholders.Recommend improvements based on performance data to enhance vendor efficiency and overall project outcomes.Change ManagementLead efforts to integrate innovative practices, including the adoption of gig economy resources and modern vendor management tools.Develop change management plans to support organizational transitions, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and adherence to updated policies.Provide training and support to teams to facilitate smooth adoption of new vendor management practices and frameworks.Post-Project TransitionDocument and disseminate lessons learned from completed projects to inform future initiatives.Manage the transition of project deliverables to operational teams, ensuring long-term sustainability.Engage in continuous process improvement and contribute to the organization’s strategic project portfolio.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
