The Strategic Supplier Manager will play a key role in delivering on the Global Field and Channel Organization’s service supplier strategy and optimizing supplier relationships within a specific theater/market. This role focuses on supplier lifecycle management, from onboarding to offboarding, and supports the development and improvement of suppliers through collaboration with market vendor account managers. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, particularly across multiple markets, and will drive cost containment and operational efficiency by implementing supplier optimization initiatives. This position requires knowledge of service supplier industry trends, procure-to-pay processes, contract management, and business process management to drive cost leadership initiatives and to delivery on supplier strategy within a designated region.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Lifecycle Management: Support market in supplier management, including onboarding, offboarding, contract management (RFx, statements of work, rate cards, SLAs), and vendor performance evaluations.
Vendor Management: Assist in procurement-related activities, ensuring strong partnerships and collaboration with market Vendor Account Managers (VAMs) to streamline supplier engagement and performance.
Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with strategic suppliers and internal teams to develop, implement, and improve processes for enhanced service delivery and customer experience.
Project Management: Manage and deliver projects that span multiple markets, ensuring alignment with global service delivery strategies and supplier management best practices.
Business Process Improvement: Identify and collaborate on standardization opportunities to streamline vendor management activities, leveraging automation where possible to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Supplier Strategy Execution: Execute supplier strategies, including cost optimization programs, to drive savings, enhance operational efficiency, and support global supplier management initiatives.
Cost Leadership and Supplier Rationalization: Lead efforts to optimize suppliers across region’s markets to achieve cost leadership and efficiencies.
Service and Process Design: Contribute to the development of service delivery processes and capabilities to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of supplier-related services.
Global Supplier Management Collaboration: Work with supplier management team across other theaters/markets to ensure alignment with global strategies, driving continuous improvement and innovation in supplier management practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
7 years of experience in procurement, supplier management, or supply chain roles, with a focus on supplier lifecycle management and procure-to-pay processes.
Strong project management experience, particularly in leading projects that span multiple markets.
In-depth knowledge of contract management, including RFx, statements of work, rate cards, and SLAs.
Proven experience with supplier process improvements and process standardization efforts.
Ability to implement cost optimization programs and supplier consolidation initiatives.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across different markets and theater teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving supplier performance and operational efficiency.
Experience with supplier lifecycle management and procurement digital tools is a plus.

The base pay range for this role is $136,850 to $198,450 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
