This role is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, compliant, and data-driven solutions that enhance decision-making across Finance, IT, HR, Communications, ESG, Facilities, Safety, and Compliance.

Responsibilities
As our Senior Manager, Data Governance, responsibilities include:
- Develop and enforce a comprehensive data governance framework across Autonomous Solutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, IFRS, SOX, NIST).
- Establish and oversee data stewardship, classification, and access control policies.
- Implement data quality management processes to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with governance policies.
- Lead data cataloguing, lineage tracking, and metadata management initiatives.
- Define and maintain data architecture principles that align business needs with scalable technology solutions.
- Design and optimize enterprise data models, ensuring alignment with finance and corporate services processes.
- Standardize data structures and reporting frameworks to enhance financial transparency and decision-making.
- Ensure that financial and operational data is integrated across key enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, BI tools).
- Leverage data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights.
- Drive data-driven decision-making across the division.
- Build consistent Data Analytics across Autonomous Solutions
- Leverage AI/ML-driven analytics to enhance financial forecasting, risk assessment, and decision-making.
- Explore and implement emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and automation.
- Partner with IT teams to develop and maintain scalable, high-performance data infrastructure.
- Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge technology solutions to drive innovation within finance and corporate services.
- Establish data-driven performance measurement frameworks to improve efficiency and cost optimization.
- Develop standardized KPIs, dashboards, and analytics reports to support business leaders.
- Drive enterprise-wide data literacy initiatives, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions based on trusted data
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on data governance, compliance, and technology investments.
- Partner with Finance, IT, HR, and Operations teams to implement data-driven solutions that improve efficiency.
- Work closely with external regulatory bodies, auditors, and industry groups to align governance practices with industry standards
Must-Have:
- 10 years of experience in data governance, business architecture, finance systems, or enterprise data strategy.
- Expertise in data governance frameworks, regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, IFRS), and master data management.
- Experience in AI/ML-driven analytics, data modelling, metadata management, and data privacy best practices
- Demonstrated experience in leading organizational transformations is crucial.
- Track record of successfully driving change, optimizing processes, and achieving business outcomes.
- Will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are vital.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, ERP platforms, business intelligence tools, and cloud-based technologies. While not necessarily an engineer but needs to grasp the technical aspects of autonomous solutions.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational changes, address resistance, and ensure smooth adoption of new strategies and processes
- Lean Six Sigma, PM2, MBA (Quantative), B. Business, Agile Scrum Master (SAFe)
- Familiarity with technologies from brands like NovAtel, AutonomouStuff, Veripos, and Antcom within Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division would be advantageous.
