We are seeking a strategic Benefits Specialist to join our team. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, managing benefit implementations, designing efficient processes, managing a benefits administration platform, planning strategically, and communicating with and supporting employees. The ideal candidate will have a background in benefits administration, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional employee experiences.

- Compliance Tasks: Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to employee benefits. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits.
- Benefits Implementations & Project Management: Lead the implementation of new benefit programs, including vendor coordination and communication with internal stakeholders. Oversee related project management tasks to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Process Design: Develop and optimize benefits administration processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to design and implement a benefits strategy that aligns with company goals and employee needs, while maintaining an awareness of regulatory changes, trends, and other developments that impact benefits.
- Employee Support: Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing questions and resolving issues related to benefits programs.
- Communication: Develop employee-facing communications to ensure that benefits programs are communicated clearly and effectively to employees. Plan and execute benefits educational sessions, webinars and workshops for employees. Deliver new employee orientation sessions.
- Audits: Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits, ensuring benefits records and processes meet compliance standards.
- Benefits Administration Platform Management: Develop a strong understanding of the company’s benefits administration platform, including inbound and outbound data flows, benefit plan configuration and life event configuration in the system.
