What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Writer position at Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure?
Works with the Product Communications team, multiple development teams, and various stakeholders to produce and edit technical documentation deliverables, such as:
- Online Help
- Installation guides
- Release documents
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Adhere to company processes and writing standards with minimal oversight
- Participate in team meetings
- Use developing software products, such as product testing and troubleshooting
- B.S. Technical Communications, Professional Writing, English, and other applicable majors
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Minimum 2 years professional writing experience
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in software or a similar technical field
