Responsibilities :
- Complexity of Work - Establishes the strategic technical direction of the sub-function. Drives the design, development, enhancement, and implementation of all technology domains within a given sub-function. Evaluates new technologies for use in support of sub-functions goals. Leads POC delivery, design and evolve the technical solution, manage non-technical requirements and compliance. Maintain the architectural runway, and define and prioritize enablers and enable continuous delivery
- Strategy & Innovation - Establishes current and long-range direction of technology within the sub-function aimed at keeping the organization on the forefront of change. Collaborating and orchestrating across sub-functions. Collaborating and orchestrating across customers, partners, and internal engineering teams. Research current and emerging technologies and proposes changes where needed. Mentor others within department. Identifies Problem Areas and High-Risk Areas in Software Solutions and Recommends Resolutions
- Knowledge & Skill - Require 10 years of software engineering and / or technical architecture related experience, capable of leading and mentoring a team of individual contributors, holds deep technical mastery and business knowledge across at least 2 relevant domains - APIs, UI, Security, Cloud, Mobile, DevOps etc, ability to apply extensive experience to highly complex problems, and strong understanding of IT strategy and how it relates to business objectives
- Scope of Influence- Helps business leaders, business units and lines of business executives with design thinking, business modeling, ecosystem modeling, innovation management, IT investment analysis, and operating model design. Facilitates development of crosslines of business solutions that combine knowledge of business capabilities, value streams and business processes.
- Advises solution architects on solution options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on other business capabilities and processes.
- Collaborates with the enterprise program management office on benefits, issues, risks of initiatives and reporting project status.
- Helps develop a governance plan for ensuring that business architecture is a primary input to the development of other EA viewpoints such as solutions, information and technical architecture.
