Emergency Room Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage patients based on physical, psychological, and social needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the emergency care system.
- Perform focused assessments of chief complaints in a timely manner according to established triage guidelines.
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to emergency room patients and outpatients.
- Administer medications while following the Five Medication Rights to reduce the potential for medication errors.
- Communicate assessment findings to Providers in a timely fashion.
- Carry out provider orders and respond quickly to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
Requirements:
- Current State License
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room Nursing
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Night shifts: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am; rotating days may include some weekends
Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS/BCLS/PALS
