Job Description
EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Graduate of accredited nursing program
BSN preferred
Active Hawaii RN license REQUIRED to be considered. License Pending or "will apply pending offer" will be declined.
Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certification required to submit and must be valid for the duration of the assignment
CCRN, CRRT, CPI, and trauma certification preferred
Must pass EKG exam with a score of 80% or better during orientation
Experience
Two (2) or more years full-time staff RN experience in Surgical/Trauma ICU at Level I trauma center required prior to any travel assignments
Other Requirements
Previous Queen's Health System travelers HIGHLY preferred!
Travelers are required to float to other units (ICU, Stepdown, Telemetry) based on operational needs
Travelers required to provide COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations according to current CDC guidelines:
COVID booster 2023 or later
Current season (2024/2025) Flu vaccine
All compliance requirements must be completed and uploaded to *** 10 or more days prior to start of contract. Not doing so will result in delay of start date and shortened contract
Due to holiday, full compliance will be due on or before Wednesday, 11/27/2024
This is a 48 hour/week contract. Traveler will work four 12 hour shifts per week (including weekends/holidays)
No RTO during initial assignment. Traveler may work with manager to arrange sequential days off during contract
