What are the responsibilities and job description for the HI - RN TELEMETRY FLOAT POOL (48 HRS ROT SHIFT) position at HexaQuEST Health Inc?
Job Description
Current Hawaii RN license REQUIRED to apply (do not submit license pending candidates)
Education
Graduate of accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
Experience
Two (2) or more years of full-time staff experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Stepdown unit(s) prior to any travel assignments
Previous Float Pool experience HIGHLY desired
Must pass Telemetry exam with score of 80% or better during orientation (first week of assignment)
EPIC (EMR) Experience Required
LICENSURE & CERTIFICATION
Current unencumbered Hawaii RN license
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required and must remain valid for duration of assignment
PCCN, CPI, or other specialty certification(s) desirable
OTHER COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS (please Include With Submission)
Current COVID vaccination/booster 2023 or later required (per CDC guidelines) and current season (2024) Flu vaccine required
We do not accept declinations or waivers for either of these requirements
All compliance requirements must be uploaded to *** portal 10 or more days prior to start of assignment
Failure to do so will result in delay of start date or cancellation of contract
Position Details
48 hour contract (four 12 hour shifts per week)
RTO not permitted during initial assignment
All travelers required to float as needed to areas of similar or lesser acuity (Tele, Med/Surg, ED or PACU holds, etc.)
Former Queen's travelers highly desired
The Queen's Medical Center is a 500 bed level 1 trauma and quaternary medical center located in Honolulu on the island of Oahu
